Introduction

Hi! I’m Mr. Hernandez, and I am a student teacher candidate at Azusa Pacific University. My field of study is in American History. I have always loved history and the little stories within the content. As I move forward in my educational journey, I will love to take you along with me. I am looking forward to learning and growing with you.  I am also a seeking a Master’s in Education and Technology. With this master’s in Education and Technology, I am looking to see where and how to use new tools and strategies in my future classroom. I feel education is taking a shift to technology since this new generation of students is learning how to use technology at a younger age.  I love to call the new generation the Techy Generation. Since this generation is coming and is raising, it is important for teachers to learn and stay ahead of the game and learn how to incorporate these tools into their classrooms. I feel so blessed to be in the position I am in, because I am already confirmable and have some knowledge on technology. I am looking forward to learning more and how to use technology as a tool to achieve classroom success.
